Hush — Privacy Policy

Hush ("the app") helps you keep a healthy bedtime by locking distracting apps at night and rewarding on-time sleep with collectible creatures. This policy explains what we collect and why.

WHAT WE COLLECT
- Account identifier: when you first open Hush, an anonymous account ID is created so your progress can be saved. If you choose to sign in, we also store your email address so your collection survives reinstalling or switching devices.
- Your bedtime schedule and on-time history: stored to power the core feature (warming and hatching your eggs). This is functional app data tied to your account.

WHAT WE DO NOT COLLECT
- We do not collect your location, health data, or contacts.
- The apps you choose to lock are selected through Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls). Those selections stay on your device and are never sent to us or anyone else.
- We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and we do not use third-party advertising networks.

HOW YOUR DATA IS USED
Your data is used only to operate the app: saving your progress, scheduling your bedtime locks, and showing your collection. We do not sell your data.

STORAGE
Data is stored securely using our backend provider (Supabase). 

DELETING YOUR DATA
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Account screen in the app.

CHILDREN
Hush is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect personal data from children beyond the anonymous account needed to run the app.
